I’ll be one of five contributors doing a short presentation and reading at the Vancouver, BC launch for Harbour Publishing’s Raincoast Chronicles 22 anthology. The book Saving Salmon, Sailors and Souls: Stories of Service on the BC Coast celebrates the people who have defined British Columbia coastal history since 1972.
My feature covers the impact that a committed group of volunteers had in creating Tetrahedron Provincial Park and its four log cabins, which launched the conservation movement on B.C.’s Sunshine Coast.
This free event starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Teekay Gallery at the Vancouver Maritime Museum, 1905 Ogden Ave. Doors open at 7 p.m. Refreshments are provided.
